The SDL-350's services run independently of one another, so a satellite call does not interrupt your data session, and push to talk does not interrupt either of them. **Push to talk is separate from satellite voice** Unlike the ISAT-200A, the SDL-350 does not switch between a telephone mode and a push to talk mode. There is no mode to change. The unit carries two separate satellite radios on two separate antennas, one for Certus data and voice and one for push to talk, so a crew can be listening on a talkgroup while a telephone call is in progress and the cabin is online. **Flight following runs in the background** Tracking is not a separate connection. The SDL-350 sends its position and flight events over whichever connection it happens to be using at the time, alongside everything else, and it does so continuously without any crew interaction. Nothing you do with voice or data stops the aircraft reporting.
