How do I check my historical records?
- Hover over History and select Historic Info.
- Choose your account under Select Client, then pick the unit by IMEI, registration or serial number.
- Enter the Earliest Date/Time and Latest Date/Time, then click Get Info For Dates. To see only the last 24 hours, click Get Last 24 Hr Info.
- Check the message box at the top. It tells you how many records were found, or that no data exists for that range.
- Click Select next to any row to see the full details of that message.
Date range limits:
- You can pull up to 60 days at a time.
- The range can only cover two calendar months. April 1 to May 30 works, but April 15 to June 14 returns no data because it touches three months.
- You can go back up to one year.
Records are sorted by Session Time (when the system received the message) by default. To sort by the time the unit stamped on each message when it sent it, choose Message Embedded Time.
The results table shows the message type, message time, speed, altitude, course, latitude, longitude, GPS source and trip number for each record. All times are in UTC.
Message types in history and what they mean:
- SCHED: a regular position report
- SCHED_MULTI: a multi-position (burst) report
- POWER_ON: the unit powered on
- DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL: the start and end of a trip
- BUTTONS_PRESSED: a button or switch on the dialer was used
- MMU_MESSAGE: a text sent from the MMU-II. Select the row to see the message.
- CHANGE_OF_FLIGHT_PLAN: the flight plan changed
- XML_FLIGHT_SUMMARY: a flight summary report
If your history shows only FORWARDED_MESSAGE in place of normal reports, email support@skytrac.ca with the unit serial number and aircraft registration.
