How do I reset a SkyWeb password or unlock an account?
SkyWeb usernames and passwords are managed within your own organisation. Each company has a SkyWeb Program Manager who creates accounts and is able to change passwords.
If you need your own password reset
Contact your organisation's SkyWeb Program Manager, or their designated representative. They can reset your password or issue new credentials.
Not sure who your Program Manager is?
Email support@skytrac.ca and we will tell you who is registered as the Program Manager for your organisation.
If they are away or unable to help, email us with them in copy and we will assist.
Changing a password for a user as Program Manager
- Log in to SkyWeb and go to Account Management, then Program Management.
- Select the account in the SkyWeb Accounts list. Accounts shown in italics are suspended.
- Click Options at the bottom of that section and choose Change Password.
- Enter the new password twice.
- Click Save.
The same steps apply to your own account. Select your own name in the list at step 2.
If you are the Program Manager and you are locked out or have forgotten your own password, contact us at support@skytrac.ca and we will reset it for you.
If an account is locked out
After ten failed sign-in attempts an account is locked for one hour, and the Locked out checkbox is ticked automatically in Account Details.
The Program Manager can clear this without waiting for the hour to pass. Select the account in the Accounts box and untick the Locked out checkbox. It is worth setting a new password at the same time.
