How do I back up and restore my DLS-140's configuration?

When to back up:

  • before a firmware update
  • before a factory reset
  • after we send you a new configuration, or after you change settings yourself
  • before sending the unit for repair, because the repair shop resets units to factory settings after testing

Restoring: After the upload, check:

  • the routing preference, firewall, and that both connections are enabled or disabled as expected
  • that the unit is restarted if the firewall setting changed
  • that the ISAT-200A page still opens at 192.168.111.120, if one is fitted

What a backup includes: Everything on the Configuration tab and any configuration we supplied. It doesn't include logs, firmware, service activation or the ISAT-200A's own parameter file.

Good to know:

  • The unit only checks the file type, so an edited or wrong file could still be accepted
  • When replacing a unit, ask us for its configuration rather than copying the old one
  • We may ask customers to attach their configuration file when they contact us
