What does the status LED on my ISAT-200A mean?
The ISAT-200A has a single status LED on the front panel, beside the display and pushbutton. It shows whether the unit has power and whether an alert is active.
What the LED is telling you
- Off – the unit is powered off.
- Solid green – the unit is powered on and running normally.
- Solid amber – the unit is powered on, but an alert condition is present.
If the LED is amber
An amber LED indicates that an alert is present but does not identify it. The alert can be viewed from the front panel menu.
- Press the pushbutton to wake the display. It turns itself off after approximately 20 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.
- Press and release the button in under a second to scroll through the menu.
- When Alert is displayed, press and hold the button for more than a second to select it.
- The active alert is displayed.
What the alerts mean
- GPS – GPS health report
- Mdm Reg – modem registration report
- Mdm Dly – data delay report
- Bat Flt – battery report
- Emerg – the unit is in emergency mode
- Core – binary integrity
- FDX Flt – FDX link down
The Alert menu is only available while an alert is active. If it does not appear in the menu, no alert is currently present.
While the unit is in emergency mode the front panel menu is disabled and the display shows Emerg.
